This serie is born from reflections and questions about the issue of garbage, waste and the human beings roles with the environment. I spent years collecting plastic caps in various parks in Quito. Here we can see nine tondos "Tapatondos", created from the chromatic of the endangered Ecuadorian fauna. Based on a wordplay with the name of this animals: Blue-capped Boobies, Taparente Toad, Tapagayo, Tapaquinde, Red-rimmed Fratapa, Spectacled Bear, Tapa Shark, Tapajaguar. These art works were created.

Esta serie nace a partir de las reflexiones y cuestionamientos sobre el problema de la basura, los desperdicios y el rol del ser humano con el medio ambiente. Pasé años recogiendo tapas plásticas en diversos parques. Aquí podemos ver nueve tondos “Tapatondos”, basados en la cromática de la fauna ecuatoriana en peligro de extinción. Así tenemos, en un juego de palabras: Piqueros de tapas azules, Sapo taparente, Tapagayo, Tapaquinde, Fratapa de buche rojo, Oso de tapanteojos, Tiburón tapa, Tapajaguar.
